Committee Members:
Tina - Having been raised on a ball field and played all of her life, she had no second thoughts to take on this league after Covid. Tina wanted to be able to provide her boys and the kids of this community what she was fortunate enough to have growing up. As President of this league, she supports the work of all committee members and coordinates the end of year playoffs and banquet.
Justin - Justin has been a part of the league and committee member for five years. He coaches hockey and in our intermediate division. Justin is proud to see the league grow each year. As of last year, we had 21 kids slo pitch teams in our Rayside community.
Jason - Between coaching and helping out on the committee, Jason has been involved with RBYS for over ten years. He has coached each division from TBall to Seniors. In addition to youth slo pitch, Jason is also involved in coaching both high school and minor hockey.
Jessica – Jessica joined the committee in the 2023 season. She has enjoyed playing slo pitch since girls’ league back home in Elliot Lake and has loved sharing this sport with her children. Jessica handles registrations, and scheduling. She also coaches intermediate division.
Mattieu - Matt is a first-year committee member and will be coaching in the Junior Division for a second consecutive year. He got involved with RBYS thanks to his children loving the game and is enjoying what the league has brought back to our small community post Pandemic, fun through sports! He looks forward to being more involved as a committee member.
Amanda- This is her first year as a committee member. Amanda has loved playing slo pitch since she was a child and still enjoys playing in a recreational league. She loves to be involved in her community and encouraging her children's interests and watching them enjoy a sport she loves. Amanda’s role is secretary and she is eager to get to work and get to know more people in the community.
